Education

Master in graphic design 1992 Peru IPP Peruvian Institute of Advertising Work as a graphic design teacher at the air force college in Peru “Manuel Polo Jimenez” for five years from 1991 to 1995. I graduated from International Police Chaplain in 2019 Cela University , Miami. I graduated as an international radio journalist in September 2020. ( INSJ ) International
Network of Social Journalists. 

Favorite Hobbies or Activities: I love painting! after 6 years of battling cancer is
what relaxes me the most. 

Accomplishments and civic, cultural and professional projects

Created the Bryans Art Foundation to support and help families pay for their children’s art and music therapies with different diagnoses over the past four years. (2017)

  • Participated in the creation and organization of the first Annual Health Fair completely free to attendees, in the City of Sweetwater (2016)
  • Organized the first art gallery at San Ignacio Urbe y Albizu Universities in the City of Doral of people with autism, creating a precedent for future artist/applicants with disabilities. (2016)
  • Host and organize two consecutive years the first inclusive and social art and music event, in theaters in the City of Doral and Hialeah inviting 75 people with disabilities that traveled from Peru to perform on the show, with the participation of private schools such as St Brendan High and Ismile. (2018)
  • Created and manages a committee of mothers with children with autism to deliver boxes of food house to house, to 200 families with children with disabilities, managing to deliver up to date 12,000 boxes of food 
  • Organized the collection and distribution of toys, personal care items and clothing to children in Honduras during Hurricane Eta last year. (2020) 
  • Organize the delivery of toys to children and young people with disabilities over the past five years, locally (Miami Dade)
  • Organized the first cooking workshop in St Ignacio University taught by young people with autism free for the public. (2016)
  • Created the first Spanish-language magazine to talk about disability Unlimited Magazine USA where I learned to design, edit and photograph, to bring this project forward with the idea of publishing inspirational stories for other families with children with disabilities. (2017)
  • Created the first radio show where we interviewed doctors, teachers, parents and politicians and we ask them about disability and what they do for these people, and to help their social integration, the program is called Roxana No Limits by JLTRADIO.COM and is broadcast live on disability TV Spain (Discapacidad Ondeman) and TVRADIOMIAMI.
  • Special guest three times at the United Nations during April, International Autism Awareness Month. 
  • I was invited to the OAS to talk about Bryan’s Art Foundation and the work and impact on the world on the subject of disability awareness. (2018)
  • Gave a conference in women’s month on inclusion at Urbe University (2020)

My feelings about the role Hispanic women play today in society

  • As a Hispanic woman I feel compelled to make my mark on the future of my children, grandchildren and offspring, I feel a mission in my heart to continue my legacy and to be able to continue educating society on the subject of disability, lack of sensitivity are issues that ennoble my heart.
