Neyda Lugo was born in a small town called Siquisique, Lara state-Venezuela, later she moved to the country’s capital city to continue her university studies, there she began her professional career always dedicated to the care of children, adolescents and families.
Neyda graduated from the Central University of Venezuela with a degree in Psychology and studied at the College of Psychopedagogy as a technician in mental retardation and emotional problems. She specialized in Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Psychoeducational Care for children with autism (FUNDAPSED, Puerto la Cruz-Venezuela). Autism Specialist: Evaluation and diagnosis in autism and sensory integration and behavior modification, (CAIPEA, Tabasco – Mexico). Life Coaching (ILC ACADEMY certified).
Neyda Lugo is a professional with 25 years dedicated as a specialist in autism. She has served as an advisor and counselor for teachers, parents and professionals in Neurodevelopmental disorders. Experience in facilitating and positive change within the training of young people and adults with autism through: Learning Processes, Development of study habits, organization of time, study techniques, Planning and Organization Tools, Management of social skills, Assertive Communication, Strengths Development and Personal Skills; all these processes covered by the use of the Super Learning methodology.
Neyda is the author of the book ”Approach to children with TEA” published on Amazon in digital and physical format. She has published papers and articles on Childhood Autism and other issues related to disability at the Poliestudios University in Quito, Ecuador.
Founder of “Casa Grande” comprehensive care center for children with neurodevelopmental disorders in Quito, Ecuador. Volunteer in foundations for the care of people with disabilities.
Founder of the Kiron civil association for the inclusion of people with disabilities in the Labor field. Margarita island, Venezuela
Neyda is currently facing new challenges that commits her to follow her mission and live intensely the experience of supporting parents of children with disabilities in their quality of life.
