Neema Mehta is a Global HR Leader who has worked in industries ranging from energy to tech to manufacturing across several continents, namely North America and Asia. For the last four and half years, she has led HR for several functions and businesses within Philips Healthcare.
Born in Zambia, and raised in India and the United States, Neema is proud of her global outlook and experiences. She has worked and lived in China, India, Thailand, and Singapore. Across her different experiences, Neema is driven by helping build strong teams and communities focused on compassionate culture, inclusive environments, and strong leadership. At Philips, she is an active member in the PRIDE community, Asian Employee Group, Philips Neurodiversity Network as well as a trained facilitator in addressing Unconscious Bias. She shares her challenges with dyslexia with others to help foster a more open and safe environment.
Neema has led change management and organizational design for large-scale restructuring efforts, built CoE organizations to streamline service functions, and delivered HR business services for global industrial transformation projects. She is also an experienced Coach/OD Consultant with a focus on providing support to small and mid-sized organizations.
Neema is passionate about promoting the future generations of talent and serves on the Board for Big Brother Big Sister Middle Tennessee and the Alumni Board of Directors at the business school at Vanderbilt University.
After spending nearly five years in Singapore, Neema is back in Nashville after living there while getting her MBA from Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt. She has her undergraduate in Economics & English from Rutgers University in NJ.
Adventurous travel, cooking, reading are what keep her energized outside of work! And spending time with friends and family are what keep her sane.
