Julieta Cartelli is an Argentine visual artist, writer, autistic activist, and art therapist. Her work focuses on raising awareness about autism through a neuroaffirmative lens, promoting understanding, respect for neurological diversity, and the development of more inclusive communities.
She holds diplomas in Autism Spectrum and Early Care and Stimulation, along with multiple certifications in neurodivergence and human rights, which enrich and support her professional and community-based approach.
Julieta is the co-creator of Zona Divergente, a space dedicated to autistic and neurodivergent youth and adults. Through this initiative, she facilitates art therapy, emotional regulation, and relationship-building experiences, prioritizing self-expression, identity, and a sense of belonging.
She has participated in international conferences and provides training for educators, healthcare professionals, and cultural and exhibition space teams. She also delivers community talks and family-oriented sessions. Her work has been recognized with a distinction from the International María Kodama Museum for her contribution to fostering an honest and authentic culture.
Through her content, workshops, and community spaces, Julieta advocates for a perspective of autism grounded in identity rather than correction, creating meaningful impact across both community and educational and cultural sectors.
