Julian Pico

Language: Spanish

Julián Pico Jr. is a father before any title.
Before director. Before producer. Before a career spanning more than thirty years across television and major live events in Latin America and the United States.
His life changed forever the moment autism entered his home through his son, Toñito. From that day forward, nothing was the same. What once felt certain became insufficient. The familiar fell apart.
Along that road—hard, confusing, and often profoundly lonely—Julián encountered empty promises, false experts, and comfortable narratives that sounded reassuring but healed no one. Through lived experience, not theory, he learned that real change does not begin with a pill or a label, but in the body itself: in nutrition, in reducing inflammation, in detoxification, in restoring the body’s natural ability to regulate.
From this journey emerged his firm, direct, and unapologetic stance. Not as an armchair expert, but as a father who walked through the fire and returned with truths that may be uncomfortable, yet essential.
From that experience came his book, Autism: What Silence Could Not Silence, available on Amazon. A raw and honest testimony—unfiltered and unpolished—speaking openly about fear, mistakes, learning, and faith. A book written for real parents: those who love fiercely, who question deeply, and who refuse to accept a diagnosis as a final verdict.
Today, grateful to God and to life, Julián begins a new chapter in Houston, building opportunities not only for his family, but for many others. His voice in spaces such as ASPIKA Talks is not meant to persuade, but to awaken—to break the silence, to challenge when necessary, and to remind us that we can always do more for our children when we speak with truth and act with love.
