He graduated as a technical draftsman at Fermín Toro high school, then joined the Fifth Promotion of the Chacao Municipal Police, where he worked for nine years, reaching the rank of sub-inspector. While in the Police force, he completed his law degree at Universidad Santa María and later specialized in Criminal Law at the same university. He resigned from the Police to work at Amnesty International, Venezuela Section, where he coordinated the Police Best Practices program. Although he left this job, he continues to work as a permanent collaborator and advisor on security issues. He was awarded a scholarship to study at the HISTADRUT Institute in Israel, where he graduated with a diploma in Preventive Approaches to Juvenile Delinquency.
After returning to Venezuela, he became part of the leadership of the National Anti-Drug Office, serving as the National Director of the Anti-Money Laundering Division, representing Venezuela as an expert in the field before the OAS-CICAD and the GAFIC. During this period, he obtained a specialization in Human Rights from the Central University of Venezuela. Later on, he joined the Sindoni Group of Venezuela, where he served as vice president in the real estate area. During this time, he studied at Caribbean International University in Curacao and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Management degree. Currently, he resides in the United States of America, where he is certified as a Life Coach.
