Erwin Pérez

Erwin Pérez is a journalist, publicist, radio and TV producer, and interviewer. He was born in Santiago, Chile, grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and currently resides in Miami, Florida USA. He studied Journalism at the National University of Lomas de Zamora. He began his journalistic career at La Unión newspaper in Lomas, and then spent four years at Página/12 newspaper.

In 1996, he moved to Miami, Florida USA, where he began writing for El Nuevo Herald newspaper (local newspaper). He worked there for a decade as a full-time writer and then continued writing a weekly column. For two years, Erwin also wrote a regular column for People en Español magazine.

Since 2005, Erwin has shone as a publicist and public relations professional for personalities who promote their work on radio, television, and the press. He has been a publicist for numerous figures, for whom he writes biographies, designs press releases, provides image and media management advice, and of course, prepares an interview plan. He has also hosted radio and TV shows, the most prominent being “No es lo mismo” on Telemiami, where he conducted dozens of interviews. In radio, he has worked for WQBA 1140, Caracol, and Actualidad 1020 AM (in the US). Erwin has an interview channel on YouTube.

For seven and a half years, he was the main producer for Jaime Bayly’s show (A Hispanic TV Personality) on the Mega TV channel (TV Streaming in the USA). Currently, he works at Americano Media as a producer for two radio programs.
