Dr. Weber is from New York and currently lives in NYC. She completed her Ph.D in Applied Behavior Analysis at Columbia University. Prior to that, she completed her undergraduate degree at Towson University in special education. She spent the first part of her career teaching in public schools as a special education and general education teacher. Since 2016, she has worked as an Adjunct Professor at Teachers College Columbia University and Nicholls State University, working with graduate students getting teaching degrees as well as pursuing Master Degrees in Applied Behavior Analysis. In 2018, she began consulting with school districts on using the science of teaching, and applying the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis in all aspects of instruction. Her research interests over the last 10 years have included academic interventions, verbal behavior and verbal development and teacher training. She specializes in classroom management and environment strategies, setting up self-contained classrooms, instructional design, and tactics to create inclusive classroom environments.
Dr. Linfante is originally from Connecticut but moved to New Jersey after completing her doctorate. She was a special education teacher for 10 years, working in public schools and private special education schools. Dr. Linfante obtained her undergraduate degree in special and elementary education from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI. She started in a school that utilized Applied Behavior Analysis for students with intense developmental and behavioral needs and wanted to go back to graduate school to learn more about the science of teaching. In 2018, she completed her doctorate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Columbia University in New York City, NY. Dr. Linfante has worked as a behavior consultant since 2019. She has also worked as an adjunct professor for St. Elizabeth University in Morristown, NJ and Purdue Global University (online). Her research interests include verbal behavior and effective behavior management strategies. She specializes in self-contained classrooms, behavior management strategies, and tactics for an inclusive classroom. Dr. Linfante lives in Califon, New Jersey with her husband and two-year old son.
