BEET ACOSTA, also known as ACOSTA, Beethzart Acosta by birth name, is a Venezuelan singer and songwriter born in Maracaibo, Venezuela. He currently resides in the United States, from where he continues to represent his country, maintaining a strong commitment to preserving the musical culture of his roots.
The Venezuelan artist took his first steps in music at a very young age, exploring various musical genres and experimenting with the fusion of rhythms such as salsa, traditional gaita zuliana, calypso, and ballads. These influences inspired him to compose his first songs, which later allowed him to project himself as a singer and songwriter with a distinctive identity and musical style that captured the attention of audiences in Maracaibo.
In 2005, he began one of the most important projects of his career: the duo Caibo, which became a benchmark of contemporary Venezuelan music. With four recorded albums, 15 national tours, three international tours, and numerous songs ranked in the Top 10 of Venezuela’s national music charts—along with multiple national awards such as the Pepsi Music Awards, Mara de Oro de Venezuela, and other recognitions—this project became an undeniable success.
In 2018, he decided to launch his solo career. Since then, he has worked tirelessly on his new musical proposal, resulting in several songs that have made audiences dance while also touching hearts through meaningful lyrics, a fusion of Latin rhythms, and his melodic voice.
In 2022, he participated in the Free Cover “Tribute to La Dimensión Latina,” earning a nomination at the 11th Edition of the Pepsi Music Awards 2023 for Best Free Cover in its category. This video and cover surpassed 24 million views on YouTube, driving the artist’s presence in countries such as Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Spain, France, Switzerland, and, of course, marking his return to his native Venezuela.
That same year, he launched a musical project titled “Pachangah,” composed of several singles that ranked among the top positions on Venezuelan music charts and across digital platforms. Standout tracks include “Se prendió el Parampampam,” “Gozaera,” “Peshosha,” and “Cinco Rosas,” the latter recorded in collaboration with Venezuela’s legendary band Guaco.
In 2024, he released a Live Session, available on YouTube, created so his closest fans could experience what it’s like to record a live video and connect more intimately with the artist.
Currently, he is recording his third studio album as an independent artist, filled with vibrant rhythms while maintaining love and emotion at the core of its lyrical content.
BEET ACOSTA has poured his heart and energy into this new album, which promises to mark a turning point in his career. Additionally, he is preparing for a series of live performances across the United States, Latin America, Spain, and Venezuela, with dates to be announced soon on his social media platforms.
