Remi Olutimayin an award-winning voice director and voice actor whose expertise spans over two decades in the dynamic world of voice acting. Remi is an autism self-advocate.
He is the first voice director for animation in West African history, the first winner of *SOVAS Award for Outstanding voice over for African Animation (2023) and the first recipient of the **APVA African Voice Director Legacy Award (2022).
His applied understanding of the significance of engaging and authentic voice performances has repeatedly turned out outstanding projects, and enhanced the storytelling experience for the audience. This is reflected in his work across animation, audio-books, film, and audio dramas.
He is the founder of Voice Acting Africa, an online community for voice actors of African descent, on the continent or in the diaspora. He creates a safe space for questions to be answered, experiments to be tried all with a goal to make better storytellers of the African experience.
