I was born in Madrid, Spain, but my roots are Venezuelan. At the age of 14, I moved to the United States to pursue my education and graduated from Lake Worth High School. I later enrolled at a university in Minnesota, but after my first semester, I dropped out. It wasn’t due to a lack of intellect but because I later discovered I am on the spectrum, which impacted my academic experience.
I am a proud father of two daughters. In 1992, I moved to Florida and entered the real estate industry. Over the years, I became a trailblazer in the field, opening the first Spanish-language real estate school in Florida and playing a pivotal role in advocating for the state exam to be translated into Spanish.
I founded one of the largest real estate firms in Florida and experienced great success. However, that success came to an abrupt halt in 2012 when I was indicted and later convicted of wire fraud, serving a 9-year sentence. During my incarceration, I reflected deeply on my actions and committed to using my experience to better the community.
Upon my release, I became a consumer rights activist, dedicating my efforts to protecting the Hispanic community from financial predators like the person I once was. Over the last four years, I’ve had the privilege of saving millions of dollars for people who were at risk of being scammed. I now work with several renowned nonprofit organizations focused on consumer protection.
Today, I am the owner of multiple businesses, including Coffee with Trust, a coffee shop in South Florida; Pulse Elite Training, a spinning center in Orlando, Florida; and Parson Institute, a technical education institution, among others.
In late 2024, I was officially diagnosed as being on the spectrum, a realization that has brought clarity to many of my past behaviors and challenges. I am a devoted father, a committed Christian, and someone who strives daily to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
