Tracey Hawkins is a native of North Carolina – originally from Morehead City, NC and proudly holds degrees from both UNC-Chapel Hill and North Carolina Central University. As a member of the Durham Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated (initiated Kappa Omicron Chapter Spring ‘02 and a current member of Durham Alumnae Chapter); Tracey values service, community connection, and advocacy. Advocating for the needs of the autistic community is one of Tracey’s core values and is the driving force behind her success, becoming the Founder of Thriving on the Spectrum and creator of the THRIVE App.
Thriving on the Spectrum develops interactive and digital supports tailored to the needs of the autistic and neurodivergent community. The company’s THRIVE App was inspired by her two children with autism and offers a comprehensive and multifaceted approach to leveraging technology in our everyday lives. What started as a smartwatch app to support the parents of autistic children has evolved into an all-encompassing tool for anyone of any age who needs help planning, scheduling, and keeping track of their day.
