Aura Elizabeth Vizcaya is a distinguished early childhood educator with an inclusive and holistic approach. She holds a Child Development Associate degree and has successfully established the first family child care learning home named Habitat Early Learning in Gwinnett County, endorsed by the state of Georgia, which integrates neurodivergent children. This achievement positions her as a pioneer in creating inclusive educational environments.
Furthermore, Aura is the founder of Autism Day by Day, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and supporting Hispanic families impacted by the autism spectrum. Her commitment and dedication have been recognized with multiple awards, including:

On a personal level, Aura Elizabeth has been diagnosed with autism and faces comorbidities such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and sensory processing disorder. This personal experience has strengthened her ability to empathize and connect with the families she serves.
Aura is the mother of two sons: Mauro, diagnosed with non-verbal level 2 autism, PTSD, and sensory processing disorder; and Fabián, diagnosed with ADHD. She is married to Ricardo Matos Jr., who is neurotypical and president of the Autism Day by Day foundation. Ricardo provides her with unconditional support in her daily work.
Aura Elizabeth Vizcaya has not only transformed early childhood education in her community but has also created a vital support network for Hispanic families, reflecting her passion and dedication to the inclusion and well-being of all children.
